Contributor License Agreement

1. Definitions

• "Project" means the Consciousness Revolution platform, including all code in the overkor-tek/consciousness-revolution GitHub repository and any affiliated repositories.
• "Contribution" means any code, documentation, design, content, or other work you submit to the Project via pull request, direct push, or any other mechanism.
• "Founder" means Darrick Preble, or any legal entity subsequently formed to hold the Project (e.g., an LLC or DAO LLC). Upon formation of such entity, all rights granted herein automatically transfer to that entity.
• "Protected Marks" means: Consciousness Revolution, ARAYA, Pattern Theory, Overkill Kulture, Overkor Teknologies, and any marks subsequently registered by Founder.
• "XP" means reputation points tracked in the Project's contribution system. XP is a reputation metric only.

2. Intellectual Property — You Keep Your Work

1. You retain full ownership of everything you create. Your code, your designs, your ideas — they are yours before, during, and after your time contributing to this project.
2. By submitting a Contribution, you grant the Project a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, and build upon your Contribution as part of the platform. This is a license — not a transfer of ownership.
3. You retain the right to use your own work anywhere else — in your portfolio, other projects, open source repos, client work, or your own products. Contributing here does not lock your work to this project.
4. You retain the right to identify yourself publicly as the author of your Contributions — in your portfolio, GitHub profile, resume, LinkedIn, or anywhere else.
5. You represent that each Contribution is your original work and does not infringe on any third party's rights. If any Contribution includes code under an open-source license, you will clearly identify it.

3. Tokens, Digital Assets & Branding

1. You will not create, deploy, promote, or profit from any cryptocurrency token, NFT, digital asset, or financial instrument that uses any Protected Mark without prior written approval from Founder.
2. XP points are a reputation metric only. They are not securities, are not convertible to cash, and create no ownership interest in the Project or any affiliated entity. No expectation of financial return should be derived from XP.
3. If the Project issues an official token in the future, Founder may in its discretion allocate tokens to contributors based on XP and contribution history. This is a possibility, not a promise. No contributor is guaranteed any token allocation.
4. Any unauthorized token, asset, or product using Protected Marks may be subject to trademark infringement action and immediate termination of this agreement.

4. What You Can't Do (Narrow and Specific)

1. You will not take this specific codebase and launch a direct clone of the Consciousness Revolution platform under a different name. Building your own original tools, apps, or products — even in similar spaces — is completely fine.
2. You will not use private information you accessed as a contributor (user data, lead data, internal comms) to build competing services or poach community members.
3. You are free to work on anything else at any time — other clients, other startups, open source, your own products. Contributing here creates no restrictions on your broader career or other projects.

5. Access & Termination

1. Founder may revoke your repository write access at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.
2. Upon termination, your prior Contributions remain assigned to the Project. Your XP record is preserved. Your author credit is preserved.
3. Sections 2 (IP), 3 (Tokens), 4 (Non-Compete), and 6 (Liability) survive termination of this agreement.

6. Liability & Indemnification

1. The Project is provided "as is". Founder makes no guarantees about revenue, token value, compensation, or project continuity.
2. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Founder from any claims arising from your Contributions, including but not limited to IP infringement, security vulnerabilities introduced, or unauthorized actions taken with repository access.
3. Founder's total liability to you under this agreement shall not exceed $0 USD, reflecting the voluntary nature of contributions.

7. Governing Law & Disputes

1. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.
2. Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Spokane County, Washington, under JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules.
3. The prevailing party is entitled to reasonable attorney's fees and costs.
4. This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Founder regarding Contributions and supersedes all prior discussions, promises, or representations.
