Inventory What You Have

Dig through that Apple box
0/5
  • Count all Raspberry Pis HUMAN
Write down: Pi 3, Pi 4, Pi 5? How much RAM each? Working or broken?
  • List all radio modules HUMAN
LoRa HATs, antennas, any Meshtastic devices, Flipper, SDR dongles
  • Gather all cables and power supplies HUMAN
USB-C cables, microUSB, power adapters, SD cards
  • Collect existing packaging/boxes HUMAN
Reference boxes from Pi kits, packaging materials, foam inserts
  • Take photos of everything HUMAN
Good lighting, white background if possible. One photo per item type.

Why This Matters

You can't sell what you don't know you have. This becomes your "what's in the box" list for each tier.

2

Define What You're Selling

Turn parts into a product
0/5
  • Create product tiers DONE
Foundation Node ($150), Three-Node Mesh ($500), etc. - see campaign page
  • Write "What's In The Box" for each tier HUMAN
Plain English list. "1 small computer, 1 radio antenna, 1 power cable, 1 memory card"
  • Decide: Pre-assembled or kit? HUMAN
Kit = cheaper to ship, customer builds. Pre-assembled = more work, higher price.
  • Calculate actual cost per unit HUMAN
    Parts + packaging + shipping + Stripe fees (2.9%) + your time
  • Set final prices HUMAN
Rule of thumb: Cost × 2.5 = retail price. Includes margin for mistakes.

Pricing Formula

Parts ($80) + Packaging ($5) + Shipping ($15) + Stripe fee (~$5) + Your time ($20) = $125 cost → Sell for $150-175
